P1S with AMS: Side Spool Holder

Hello together,
I am currently searching for a better side spool holder. I know there are a lot of cool holders outside to print, but I am missing some details in the description of these holders.
To make it more clear, let’s take this famous holder: Bambu Labs X1 Carbon / P1S Side Mount Spool Holder by codebender - MakerWorld

note you will need to unplug the tubing from the AMS if you are using an AMS while printing from the side spool holder

What does this mean exactly? Do I have to remove the PTFE tube every time when I switch from printing with AMS vs. printing from side spool?
Can I add this kind of adapter Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter in between to avoid the unplugging?

Or to ask the other way around: I need to print sometimes from the side spool, e.g. TPU. How is the easiest way to do so? Which holder can you recommend?

The model you suggested comes with an optional adapter that connects to the external adapter and means you do not need to keep unplugging the external spool or the AMS each time you wish to use the other.

It is shown right at the top of the description and in an image displayed immediately underneath that.

The model you selected looks the best I have seen and the requirement to uncouple it has nothing to do with the design of the model, but the obvious issue that the design of the printer having only one inlet.

The 4-in-1 adapter is perfectly suited to assist in this design limitation.
