hi - having an extruder issue with my P2S…current issue is that no filament is extruding. Previous error was that I had an extruder overload about 15 minutes into every print.
Bambu support had me replace the extruder motor. After replacing the extruder motor, I replaced the tubing from my AMS2, new nozzle, new filament buffer, new extruder gears. First print seemed to work until an issue around the end of the first layer where the PLA filament quit extruding. Stopped print then started the same print over and the printer was running without any filament extruding. Unsure what to do next. I have sent the logs and videos to bambu support.
Did a manual extruder test, seems to work which indicates it’s the gears. But they are new. Also checked the tension screw, seems tight.
Would greatly appreciate any thoughts. Not sure what to do. Thank you.
Are you using BL filament or another supplier? Sometimes a cardboard spool can get tight (filament to spool wall) and cause an overload. Same could apply if you pinch the side of a refill.
Have you tried using a larger diameter filament tube? Very cheap on Am…
Just a thought, otherwise unlikely to apply to all spools - but the 15 minutes in could suggest unexpected friction somewhere.
Hi - so I’m using Bambu branded basic PLA with the standard plastic spool. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the extruder gears. Saw on another forum that the tension screw should have 3 washers for preferred tension. However still having issues. Wondering if it’s my build plate or something else now although that was also new.
Im having this exact same issue. Brand new, less than 1 week old printer, and nothing but problems with this P2S. I was trying my first multi-color print today and all it does is continually stop with extrusion errors.
