P2S Owners Deserve an Upgrade Path to the X2D

When it comes to topics like this, what I never seem to understand is that one option is completely overlooked: selling the old device. Some people act as if their old device has suddenly become completely worthless.

I’ve been doing this for years with all kinds of devices, not just 3D printers. Have some people forgotten how to do that? Or are they underestimating just how valuable the old hardware still is? This is especially true in the context of P2S, which is still relatively new and in high demand.

Let me give you an example. I recently bought the latest top-of-the-range AV receiver for €600. That’s a lot of money, and I would never have bought it otherwise, but I sold my old one for €400, so in that sense it only cost me an extra €200. This applies to so many things, whether it’s a car, a graphics card or a 3D printer.

I can understand the frustration in some situations. However, in these kinds of topics, I usually see either laziness or a lack of knowledge about how to sell old equipment. Actually, in this context, it’s not even old.

It’s ironic that this question keeps coming up regarding Bambu and immediately demand “free” or “no‑cost trade‑in” again and again. Try asking Apple, Samsung or Sony the same question.
