Painting model for AMS using existing texture

Hello, I have a .blend file of a building with brick texture and was wondering if there was any way I could use this texture to color the 3d print as it would save me a lot of time.

It’s unclear what your asking. Blender has the ability to output an STL file. So why wouldn’t you simply use blender? If you’re goal is to use the slicer to apply a texture like Blender can, that isn’t something the current spate of slicers can do. You might be able fake out the slicer by bringing in a section of model out of blender as an STL solid and then use that as a modifier on the face you want to apply the texture. Although this is relatively straight forward, it would be a clumsy operation that would require a lot of manual trial and error. That is unless you can create the precision before you export it and it overlays on top of a similar geometry. But then again, you would be trying to get the slicer to do what Blender is designed to do in the first place.

You’re question would be much easier to answer if you could share some examples using screen grabs of what you want to achieve.
