I love it. A lot of fun to use the tool has great execution as it’s easy to configure and use.

Any eta on when parametric text within fusion will be available in the customizer? I’m not using any plug-ins, just the inbuilt text tool.
I have a design ready to upload but it won’t work without the parametric text!
We’re working on it. Hopefully, it can be released in mid of Oct.
I uploaded a F3D file and it was validated, then I discovered an error and deleted the file, fixed the error and uploaded it again - then it could no longer be validated, I also uploaded the one with the bug again as a test, but it still failed.
Hello, I just tried to upload a Fusion360 file and got a message saying that validation failed. Question: Is the parametric model maker function not working at the moment?
Everything worked fine with my last model.
Can’t upload quite simple 3fd… Keep getting “validation error”.
Are there any way to get exact validation error?

I also just tried uploading a Fusion file and it also failed validation. Is there any way for us to find out why our files failed? Or is there a problem with the site maybe?
Has anyone been able to upload a parametric Fusion file in the last day or so?
Hi all, we recently identified an issue in our validation process that caused some .f3d file uploads to fail. The problem was on our side and has now been fully resolved.
If you encountered validation failures yesterday, please try uploading your models again — they should now process correctly.

out of curiosity: was it a CSP problem?
Is the support for multiple bodies / components being worked on? At the moment multiple parts just merge in one mesh file, it would be nice if you could export multiple meshes so it’s easy to set up multicolor/multimaterial prints

I created my own txt for numbers, but i think math plus many layers to much been taking while to validate

Hi @PineappleBun_BBL, how’s the integration of parametric text into Fusion360 .f3d files going? I’m trying to upload one, but it doesn’t seem to be implemented yet.
This is awesome, but maybe there’s a bug?
I create a simple f3d with text that has 2 favorited parameters, Text and Height on a single sketch. Only height shows up when publishing. If I have only 1 favorited parameter (text) I get an error saying “No favorite parameters were found in your .f3d file; please edit the file to favorite the parameters you want to make customizable and then retry.”
I have also noticed that changing the size and regenerating doesn’t actually change the text size. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but if there is a very basic sample f3d file with text that can be modified that would be amazing.

@PineappleBun_BBL - it wont let me upload images, but i made a new f3d with only a single sketch and text, extruded 3 mm. The text has 2 favorited parameters:
- Text1-Height (name = d1)
- Text1-Text (name = d2)
when uploading to makerworld, it only shows d1.

You are right. It is not added yet. We’ve tried but Fusion Cloud doesn’t support it yet.
