Thanks! I deleted the old one re-sliced and worked no issues.
Was fighting this issue today. Tried everything. Format SD Card, removed the SD card, uninstalled and reinstalled the Bambu Slicer, printing from my phone. Printing from a different computer. Nothing would fix it.
Then I dug deep into my professional IT experience…I rebooted the printer. I got so lost in digging into this issue from all the comments on here. I didn’t even think about the most basic fix. I am swallowing my pride and posting this as a reminder that sometimes the most basic fix will work.
did they tho? how did you fix it?
what did you do? and how?
Thanks, I changed new SD card. And it does work now.
rebooting the printer fixed it for me
Omg…I’m laughing at myself now too. Same experience as you. Thank you for reminding me to go back and try the trusty old turn it off and on again XD
This is the only thing that worked for me.
I did not try power cycle though…
Hey all, just wanted to add that if swapping the card doesn’t work for you, try unplugging the printer, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. That fixed the issue for me when swapping the card (and reformatting) didn’t work.
Just a heads-up, I encountered this issue today (first time) and ended up “forgetting” the Wifi network and reconnecting and it worked. (P1S)
I will say this. The WiFi functionality on the P1S is absolute garbage. Out of the dozens of devices that I have connected to my Xfinity router, the P1S is the ONLY device that has consistent connection issues. I gave up on support from Bambu. They wanted me to do too much to my home network to resolve the problem when only their device was misbehaving. For a company that prides itself on “just working”, they should be ashamed of a) how poorly the WiFi is implemented and b) their post-sales support. (or lack thereof)
Turned the printer off, closed bambu studio, turned on printer, restarted software, and it worked. Also took out and put back in the SD card.
The ol’ IT Crowd fix.
Lmao. For some reason I forgot my 3D printer was just a fancy printer. Rebooting it did the trick. Thank you for the reminder
Rebooting the printer worked for me as well, thanks for the reminder!
I had the same issue. Tried reformatting the SD Card, restarting bambulab, both didn’t work.
Just restarted the printer, and now it’s working again…
Same issue. Reformatted the (original) SD card & reinstalled BambuStudio which appears to have fixed it. (and, of course, did a reboot, too – “have you tried turning it off and back on again” haha)
Odd, however, because the machine quit halfway through a print, but was shown as “100%” / “Success” on both the P1S and BambuStudio.
Thanks everyone for your helpful suggestions.
You were right. I tried all the above, but then took your advice and turned it off and back on - then it worked like a champ. Forgot the first rule of IT. Should of known better.
Came on here to say I formatted the card on the machine, tried a new card, formatted the new card, amended the print file, changed its name… nothing.
Simply switched the printer off and on using the switch on the back, problem solved.
Turning off and back on after a few seconds is the only thing that worked now I know what to do if it happens again thanks .
