Just noticed that my part fan is not spinning. I set it remotely to 100%, yet it doesn’t move and shows as 0% again after a while.
I will investigate why it doesn’t work after I get back from work (had a clog in the morning, whether that was because of it or whether I knocked a cable out I don’t know), but I’m wondering if this is something that should be displayed in the HMS? Apparently the printer knows that it isn’t spinning, and it should know that it’s supposed to, so I’d expect a message or notification or error somewhere.
The fan is controlled by gcode, and I found that manually changing the speed just causes it to reset on the next layer. Your filament profile evidently told the fan not to run.

Nope, the issue was that I knocked out (partly) the connector for the front head cover.
But my post was not about troubleshooting that, but about the printer not alerting me about it.
