Partially bad adhesion on first layer

I have partially bad bed adhesion. In this print I don’t care because its the bottom of a huge print and it will become okayish later.

The bed is cleaned with ISO before the print.

What can be the issue?

Clean with dish soap and warm/hot water. Explained why in the post below.

You have to use 3dlac and everything sticks.

May I ask how long you’ve had this plate?

approx 6 months. But its one of four plates which are in use.

Will try again with this, but it seems to be a filament issue.

I was having adhesion problems with PLA on a textured plate. After washing the print plate, I raised the bed temp to 65 degrees. I also slowed down first layer print speed to 20 (from 50). On small parts, I use mouse ears (on auto). This has solved this problem for me.

Edit: I have been using a PEI textured plate. When I first started using it, everything stuck without any problems. Now prints fail. I used the method above to get prints to stick. I have found another solution on this forum. I can’t try it now, my printer is down. The described procedure strikes me as reasonable and logical. I will try it and let you know. See link below.

Good Luck
