I had a major blob in my printhead yesterday, there was probably 100g of melted PETG in and around the extruder. Took me most of the day to get it cleaned out. See attached photo. This is the chunk I had to remove from around the extruder.

Long story short, I got it all cleaned up, and realized that the little wire spring catch that holds the hotend in place was missing. Where can I get this part? I hope it is available as a part.

Hi Malc

Yeah sort of. All I really need is the little clippy thing on the right hand side, but I guess I can’t buy that as a separate part. I found this on the website after I posted.

Ah well, I guess it won’t hurt to have a spare heater on hand, and there were some other parts i needed as well, so the order is on it’s way. Thanks Malc.
