It would be nice if bambulab also has some PCTG filament, it is basically PETG with better properties, and the transparency/translucency is higher.
Ill play devils advocate and say they shouldn’t add PCTG to their lineup.
Despite its better impact resistance and layer adhesion, it is harder to print since it likes to shrink/warp. Then there is higher cost because it is a much less common polymer.
There are many other places to buy filament, I wouldnt rely on Bambu for everything.
PCTG is a fun filament to play around with, but I dont think its benefits pay off when compared to the price and availability.
Haven’t tried it yet but considering it is roughly between €22 on Amazon and €32 from Fiberlogy via 3D Jake, I may give that a try after the hol’s.
Are you able to recommend any brands?

I havent tried any, but i like the preconfigured profiles via the ams and with other brands you dont get that
I havent tried any, but it seems a case like abs/asa, where asa usually wins. What would it hurt just to have it as an option. For many things you might not even need to abs..
I did hear others that the transparancy effect is also better on pctg. I’d personally like to try it, but i like the preconfigured profiles via the ams and with other brands you need to fine tune again. Thats why i prefer bbl filament
