PEI Smooth plate both sides?

I ordered my PEI smooth plate with my X1C, but now 300 hours in, it’s time to replace the sticker.
But I notice that due to how it’s keyed, I can’t replace the Engineering Plate on the back.
Am I missing something or is a double sided smooth plate not possible?
