What setting can I use to correct the perimeters of multicolor zones so that I don’t get these extrusion ends going in to the wrong color zone?
Not certain, but I think that color is subtly different and is showing the type of line - a seam - and not the actual filament color.

Those are seams. The place where the filament starts and stops on each layer for each wall.
These days I turn on the still experimental feature in BS called Scarf joint seam (experimental) and set it to the option of Contour and hole.
This creates a ramping up of the start and a slowing down of the end, this creates a type of even overlap thickness.
It works for me and I add it to models that don’t normally benefit from it. It helps to hide the actual seam.
