Hey all, hoping someone here can shed some light on this.
I’m running into a super consistent clogging issue during my prints, and after a lot of testing, I’ve narrowed it down: the nozzle clogs almost every single time during the Gap Infill portion near the end of a specific top layer - Layer 18 in my case. That layer is mostly a top surface, but a few areas continue taller. The clog happens near the end of the layer, always in the same spot which I have narrowed down to be the Gap Infill Portion.
When it hits that point, my nozzle becomes either partially or fully clogged. I’ve been able to replicate the issue across three different X1Cs, so I’m fairly confident it’s not hardware-related.
I’m printing with Bambu PET-CF (not PET"G"-CF), and using the default Bambu slicer profile. The filament has been dried to spec. and I have calibrated the K-Factor. I’ve tried different hardened nozzles and different spools of PET-CF
Still getting the exact same failure point.
So now I’m wondering if there are any slicer settings that may help reduce this clogging? Could it be extrusion rate, flow, speed, retraction, or something else?
Any help, would be hugely appreciated!
TL:DR PET-CF Prints perfectly, but once it reaches the Gap Infill portion of a top surface, I get a clog.
