I have no problem believing that Bambu’s reformulated PETG will likely be better. Why? Because as already reported on a different thread, Elegoo’s Rapid PETG has an unbelievably high flow rate. A number of people reported 24mm^3/sec, which got me interested in trying it, and I replicated their finding and also found that with black I could get 30mm^3/sec:
That’s even higher than I ever got with PLA. PETG with a higher flow rate than PLA?
That was never, ever true before. Yet, all this at a rock bottom price.
Back in the day, the maximum flow rate for PETG through a v6 hotend was thought to be about 8mm^/sec, So how is this even possible? Is it truly PETG and not something else masquerading as PETG? If so, it would seem some kind of additive breakthrough or other breakthrough has fairly recently happened in PETG filament formulation. Whatever it is, people like it. Just read the reviews and see.
