Why are all PETG colors currently out of stock. Is there some odd issue with Bambu’s PETG?
I believe there was a plan to do an updated version of it but i think that might not have surfaced yet
We started discussing this the other day.
This is a recurring problem with Bambu. This string started way back last year and the inability of Bsmbu to provide common filaments for their products is a sign of lack of desired support for their products. I have started purchasing filament from more reliable sources , there are many.
Another filament grip, essentially the beginning of Bambu products (x, P, A, etc) they have only listed a few suppliers with preselected data choices. 9polyMaker, etc). In all these years should have been possible to add additional sources. Obvious trying to short cut other suppliers. And THEN they can’t even meet supply.
Bambu and the industry need to adopt a common RFID standard which would help.
I’ve seen shortages from time to time, but right now there are SO MANY filaments that are completely or nearly completely out of stock! Are there PETG alternatives that people would recommend for the A1 with AMS?
Bringing this up again. I really like the quality of the PETG-HF filaments. I have almost completely dropped PLA except incases where color is not available in PETG. This constant shortage really sucks.
which also brings up the question, why not more colors? my only thought on this is thst their focus is only on PLA…
