PETG from the dryer, it is better to let it cool down

Hello,
when you have finished printing and you want to store the used PETG from the dryer, it is better to let it cool down before it goes into a vacuum bag ?

I don’t have bags so I can’t speak on that but I do typically transfer the filament to the filament bunker right away after a heating cycle and unless I am making stuff up it appears to help lower the humidity inside the container way better than just waiting for the filament to cool down. So maybe that would have the same effect in a bag? My filament bunkers have desiccant beads in them.
