PETG head going to clean every layer A1

Hi havent really printed much petg but i used the bambu basic petg setting.
On every layer it goes to left hand side by pop shoot and waits 10 seconds or so then flicks and continues on next layer.
Its causing strings as when it sits for 10 seconds it dribble outs.
Highly annoying.what setting do i change.

Have you activated the timelaps ?

Specifically the “Smooth Timelapse” setting
