PETG-HF Filament

I’ve come to the conclusion that all consumer dryers are inferior to large food dehydrators as long as you can deal with the waste heat. In all consumer dryers I’ve seen the relative humidity internally goes up as the filament releases moisture, this doesn’t happen in large dehydrators as they have 20x more air going through them. They use 5-10x more instantaneous power but if you can deal with the waste heat provide faster (and easier to get uniform) drying.

I’ve never seen RH go up while drying with my Eibos Easdry. Unlike most dryers it does not just heat and circulate air within the box. It sucks in outside air, blows it through the heater in the central hub, circulates it around the spool and blows it and the moisture out of the box.
