Just the white so far. I got a spool of gray (not dark gray) to try out too. But I’ve got a shopping cart prepped. Was hoping yellow would come back in stock but I have projects in mind for other colors that are in stock.
The red is good, as is the blue. Vivid.
In my experience, the colors act really different. The red for example is PETG like and kinda glossy with a smooth and a little matte finish. Grey on the other hand is pretty matte and somehow kinda “milky”. It prints very different to my red color as well and doesn’t feel like PETG in my opinion.
I will order black and blue and will keep you updated on how the print and compare to me red and grey spool.
For me, both PETG HF and basic lost 4 grams out of the package. but I’m drying over 24 hours, 12 wasn’t quite enough. But that could have been me not drying at a real high temp ~125°
PETG HF printed ok for me straight out of the package, where basic not so much.
PETG-CF is pretty hard on your nozzle. This prints at lower temp and you can print at higher speed.
It’s really ashamed but the Bambu ships PETG-HF pretty wet. I have a custom dryer I built from a food dehydrator for under $50 it dries four rolls at a time. I find if I set to 130degF for 3-4 hours thats enough to get good results out of PETG-HF.
If anyone wants to make their own dryer it’s super easy here is the reddit post on it:

Well I tried it for the first time immediately after taking it out of my dryer (6 hours at 65C). And it printed terrible. I am re-drying it for another 8 hours.
My home humidity is 34% at 70 degrees. It went immediately from the vacumn bag to the dryer to the printer. The printer AMS humidity is 10% at 82 degrees. I have had no problems with PETG basic. I have never weighed my filament before so that is a useful test to find end drying time.
I found the original posters comments helpful and Jakobdam not really useful (other than a reminder that it needs to be dried)
I dried a new spool of grey Bambu PETG HF four hours in a ‘blast’/‘hot air’ oven (reliable and constant temperature) at 55 degC and it lost 2.3 g weight.
The next day I dried it for another 3+ hours and it lost only 0.6 g weight.
So apparently it was dried sufficiently(?)
Printing with the default PETG HF profile on my A1 (with 15% infill, both 2 and 3 walls tested) works just fine and I get good results. I printed a benchy, 20mm testcube and several spool holders (marsgizmo filament bunker V3) for my dry boxes.
The printing results are similar to when I printed them with grey Bambu PLA Matte and I didn’t notice any of the ‘wet filament’ printing artefacts.
However, I have one minor issue. There appears to be some under-extrusion(?) which is mainly visible on top surfaces. For the Benchy this appears as very tiny holes in the front deck.
Any idea for how to adjust/fix that?
One user’s experience does not a disaster make. We need more samples before condemning the filament. But thanks for sharing.
This is good to hear, because the grey has given me nothing but headaches. I cannot get it to stick to a plate, period.
Anything else sticks before and after it, it resides in my S4 now 24/7. It just will not print well. Just the grey.
I’m not willing to contact BL, I’ll just take a loss on it. Don’t understand what’s up with this spool. It honestly acts like regular PETG at times.
I fell asleep waiting on the print to start yesterday. Long night. It didn’t stick and I ended up with this.
A first look at your photo gives me the impession that the color of your filament appears darker than my grey Bambu PETG HF.
(But it could also be an issue of the photo not representing the color correctly of course.)
E.g. my grey Bambu PETG HF has much lighter color than my grey Bambu PLA Matte.
Could your grey filament possibly be an incorrectly labelled spool containing a different filament other than PETG HF?
(I will add some photos to my above post later.)
Same here, just headaches with the grey one. The red one prints awesome.
It’s Dark Grey. Color has been added recently
Ah, okay. In the EU store currently still only 8 colors PETG HF available.
(And no more regular PETG.)
I wonder when these new colors will come to the EU store.
Ah okay, but had problems with light grey.
Well so now I know grey itself is an issue. I had intial problems with light grey as well.
Gray has been the most dodgy for me out of the ones I’ve printed. Haven’t had any huge issues, but the end product isn’t as nice as it is like with the black, or what you’d fully expect from a Bambu printer in general. Most notably, get gaps in the top layers.
The white has been a pain in my side almost every time, but the print quality turns out fine every time. Just getting the first layers down has been a headache. For whatever reason, the white seems to like to collect strands on the nozzle that then stick to and pull the first layer up while it’s printing. Some BS like that, and it makes me want to print a full set of dishes so I can throw them out the window in frustration.
I can confirm that.
Is this something that can be fixed by adjusting Bambu’s default PETG HF profile settings?
Do we need separate profiles for the grey and white colors?
All these colors print fine for me using default profile.
Good to know about the gray, I have a roll in my cart!
You know, I’ve had that issue with every white except for ABS.
I don’t have PETG-HF in white yet, at least I don’t think I do. Like you I like the black, red, and orange. I haven’t printed the blue yet, and like I said the white.
White as a whole is a pain. Like you I get boogers and dingleberries that cause issues on the first and often the second layer as well. I can not find a solution and I’m open to any suggestions. The grey HF is behaving the same way, or just not sticking to the plate. I almost never have adheison problems. Light or dark, it’s not that great.
