Hello, I am the proud new owner of a P1S, my first 3d printer, and am new to all things 3d. I have had success printing a number of models in PLA but am having trouble with PETG.
For the record, I am trying to print an ammo box that the maker configured to print in PETG. I am using Overture PETG and installed the OEM JSON config file for that filament. I have dried the filament.
I get a lot of stringing and, bumps and rough spots. I am unsure of the correct terminology to describe the flaws but hope the photos upload and show what I am getting.
I printed a temperature tower using the same filament and did not see any of the issues I get when printing the box.
The text on the cover comes out perfectly also using the PETG but a contrasting color.
I am not sure what to try next or what settings I have to change.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
