hi, my amazon basic transparent PETG has print problems at the zhop.
it look pretty good all around but at the hop its terrible.
scarf joint worsens it but its always there. any ideas?

Well, I think I can see the first problem. Why are you using this shape to do your calibration? Are you modifying the Gcode to ensure that the temp tower is actually changing temps?
Switch to Orca Slicer and use the baked in calibration tools. They work without fiddling with Gcode.
Here’s an example of a temp tower showing proof that temps are being modified at each level.
After you switch to Orca Slicer, visit the calibration tutorial. See this recent post on that subject.
the temperature change was visible in the slicer.
i only made this calibration tower to verify that the filament in general works
and 250 degrees ist the right temp.
but there are still this weird errors in the print - but only at layer change
First thing I would do, before looking for other problems, is thoroughly dry this PETG. It should not be full of holes.
i printed 3 of these all out of a heated drybox - but there is no difference.
the filament is maybe 2 or 3 year old, but ~ 12h in the dryer should be enough.
and it also happens only at layer change - the rest looks perfect.
