Hello everyone,
I have an issue with the bottom layer. Unfortunately, it’s blotchy and not uniform in appearance.
I’m using Bambu PETG Basic filament with Bambu settings. The rest of the print is flawless. I’m printing on the Bambu Textured PEI Plate.
The filament is new and was inserted directly into the AMS. Maybe you could help me further?
Greetings, Frankie

What is your plate cleaning technique?
I’ve found that scuffing the textured bottom of the part with a brass brush will often remove the “blochiness” without any harm to the texture.

I clean the plate with soap and a cloth
Thank you, an interesting idea. I will try that in the coming days.

I wonder of some of the soap residue is sticking around in the blotchy area.
I sprayed it with soapy water and rubbed it dry with a cloth. Maybe I should rinse it with water and then dry it again.

Yes, I think that is the issue.
The few instances I use soap I do a thorough rinse before drying.

That fixed my issue similar to this. The clean-up after the cleaning process is just as important.
Hello everyone,
cleaning the printing plate unfortunately didn’t yield the desired result for me.
I’ve found another method that works for me now. I use a hot air gun over the surface. Afterwards, the surface is perfectly glossy.
Still, thank you for your ideas.

Someone brought a flamethrower to a soap fight.
Well done.

Thanks for sharing, this was exactly what I needed to fix my prints also.
