PETG wont stick

I just started using PETG and having some difficulty getting it to stick (and its also stringing as its being put down if that makes sense). Im using Bambu labs PETG, and using their built in profile for it. I have tried adjusting the temperature up to 265 (was 255) and bed from 70 to 80. I originally thought it was the K calibrations were off, as one of the spools was set to 0 (other 3 were at .020) but i adjusted those up to .05 for now to test. I have attached a couple images from the calibration test showing the issue somewhat.

EDIT: also forgot to mention i did the bed tramming gcode, but i feel like it cancels out any adjustments when i does the auto-level? I dont know if there is a way to tell the auto-level to be closer/further from the bed or not?

Make sure the petg is really dry. Also was the build plate off good and wipe it down, then if you have it spray some aqua net hairspray on it and let it dry.

I did just get some indicating silica gel for in the AMS, and added a hygrometer this afternoon as well. Currently its at 46%–whats the optimal range for “dry” or do i just want it as low as possible?

I’m showing 30% humidity, you might try the hairspray, I found using the glue that came with my x1 mad stuff not stick.

Ok, ill have to see what the wife has laying around for hairsprays!

Bambu Lab recommend drying the PETG in a dryer before use. The suggested dry time is 65C for 8h as per the PETG product page.

Clean that bed. I can see finger prints and shiny areas. PEI and hand oils = Instant fail. Get some Dawn (or any dishwashing soap) and take the plate to the sink and clean it up. Instant stick.

That actually was right after i had cleaned it with dish soap! I finally was able to get the hygrometer and silica holders installed in the AMS and got the humidity in the AMS down to 10%, and then was able to get a mostly successful print (still had the corners come loose and curl though).

I was having the same problem with petg-cf from bambulab, washed my plate with soap and then used liquid glue from bambulab, problem solved, although my nozzle collects filament as other has mention here and I having stringing in bridge and support, half solved that issued turning on part fan and auxiliary, anyway I won’t use that material again…
