When I tried the photo-to-3d app in Maker Lab I wanted to print the resulting 3d image in one color. Can’t figure it out. I upload it and I get fifteen colors and a humongous file compared with the files from the statue app. There are all kinds of animals, humans, things I want to print in 3d but so far it’s just busts of my family and they are getting sick of me. Gotta be a way.
When importing the file in the dialog you can set the colors to 1. It’ll add bunch of colors, but won’t use it that way. Then you can assign whatever color you’d like. You could also simplify the model if it’s too complex in the slicer itself and export stl.
