Pixel Puzzle Maker - Issues with connectors and pixels

I’m trying to print a very cool 64x64 pixel puzzle and am running into 2 different issues on my A1 Combo.

The first issue is the one I find the most confusing - I have a plate of pixels sliced and I have to print 7x plates of Bambu Lab Jade White. I’ve printed 5 in white already with no issues. I also have a smaller plate of Bambu Lab Basic Black pixels sliced that I need to print 1x of. It has less pixels on it, but it fails every time as some of the pixels come off the bed during the print. I’ve tried hairspray and it didn’t help, and my plate is cleaned with alcohol after every print. So out of curiosity I tried to print this smaller plate of pixels in white filament and it printed no problem. And then I tried to print larger plate sliced for the white pixels in black, and it failed miserably.

It seems like the filament is the issue here on these pixels, but what can I do to try to address this first issue?

The second issue is with the connectors for the plates. I have tried to print those connectors in both Bambu Ash Grey and Bambu Basic Black and they fail within 2 layers with the connectors coming loose off the plate during the print. Any thoughts on this issue, and are they maybe somehow related where one of my settings is off and darker filaments fail on these more detailed, smaller prints?

I guess I should try to print the connectors in Jade White just to see if I can finally get a successful print, but wanted to post here to see if anybody had any ideas on what I should be looking at to try to fix this issue.

Alcohol won’t help…
Clean the plate with warm soapy water and a sponge, after that you can still use alcohol if need be…
And if the black ones always come off it suggests that the calibration/temps for the filament are not proper.

Thanks for the suggestions. For anyone interested, I swapped my hot end out from the stock .04 stainless steel to the .04 hardened steel and started getting better adhesion on the pixels and connectors for the darker filaments. The stock hot end was pretty caked up behind the heat sock, but I don’t know if that would have caused adhesion issues.

I also did bed tramming and did have to make a few significant adjustments, so I think that was definitely a contributing factor.

Finally I got some magigoo and now my prints are sticking and I am confident again when I print a big plate of pixels that I don’t need to babysit the first 2-3 layers. Back to what I expect from a Bambulab printer.
