I did my first print using the included PLF-CF black filament no problem.
The Bambu Studio will not let me select this as a filament option now though. PLA-CF is selectable in Filament Selection with all the check boxes for brands / types, but is not available in the Filament drop-downs on the Printer section of the Prepare screen.
I have only 1 or 3 AMS slots being shown in the Filament Selection despite 3 being shown on the Device page.
Iâm a month late here, but I just set up my printer today and ran into the same problem. It was a nozzle size issue for me. I selected all of the nozzles during setup and new projects were starting on 0.2. The printer comes with a 0.4 installed. Choosing that instead made PLA-CF available.
I suppose this is because the fibers are likely to clog smaller nozzles, so using PLA-CF on a 0.2 is forbidden.
Total noob here.
My problem is I canât print with Bambu PLA-CF as well. It shows in Bambu Studion but I canât select it into the print.
Mine already had 0.4 Nozzle size specified.
Iâm missing something - any help appreciated
Not sure if all issues mentioned here are the same. I am happy the the original post has been resolved, but the promlem I got was the studio was telling me it was not possible to choose PLA-CF eveb though it detected it.
In my case, I had to go to Obect list on the plate and change the filament to the AMS slot containing the PLA-CF.
I hope this helps the last person who might have similar challenge.
This could perhaps be because the shop states that the filament is not AMS compatible and therefore perhaps no detection is provided for it because it is not intended to be used with the AMS
