PLA compatibility with A1 AMS

Hi all. I have a question about PLA compatibility with the A1 with AMS lite. I’d like to get as many variations of filament as possible, but want to make sure I don’t damage the nozzle or AMS. I’ve seen the filament guide but it was a bit unclear to me.

Would it be a correct statement that all of these PLA types will work just fine?

PLA Basic
PLA Matte
PLA Tough
PLA Metal
PLA Silk
PLA Aero

And the following are not recommended (unless perhaps with a hardened nozzle):

PLA-CF
PLA-GF
PLA Sparkle
PLA Marble

That seems to be what the guide implies, but I’d like to make sure. The sparkle and marble surprise me a bit, but I didn’t specifically see them in the chart breakdown in that guide.

Thanks!

You don’t need a hardened nozzle for these, just up the hotend temp 5* or you will get a clog.

I have been printing with Sparkle and Marble filaments on my A1 with AMS without issue. The restriction is on nozzle size. That is the Sparkle and Marble filaments are not recommended for .2mm nozzles. They seem to work just fine with the far more common .4mm nozzle.

Thank you for the information! That is good to know.

One persons experience wont necessarily be the next persons experience in 3d printing, with so many settings to prove you wrong, stick with whats offical and im sure you wont go wrong

Nice rhyme  I may have to borrow that statement. Ha ha.

You can always add a splitter and use the questionable filament with it and the regular spool holder. Here are some to look at.

I find most should work fine ESun or sunlu are my preferred choices
