PLA globby, stringy, & throws bits around the printer

Bought new SUNLU transparent PLA filament, and can’t get the print to look right. They look globby, stringy, and protrude out of the first layer where the nozzle is bound to collide with them later on. The farthest I’ve gotten was about 90% of the print to finish, but then the top layer somehow slid and shifted to the side while remaining intact. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have had similar issues with the same filament and found that it needed a good 5h @55C to dry before I could use it as well as my other PLA filaments. Also, it is a filament that I enjoy using with a 0.4mm nozzle and not so much with 0.6 and 0.8mm variants.

Sunlu makes no filament designed for the high speed of the Bambu. Their “high speed” filament has a max speed rating of 100mm.

I gave up on Sunlu filament with my old printer, as there was no consistency in their product.

All those visible fibers in the separation are telling you the filaments didn’t bond correctly. That’s why you can’t get past 90%.
