Not many consumer printers boast this delightful feature, do they? 
Only bambu lab printers can do this
It’s too bad we can’t connect 2 AMS Lite units to the A1 or A!-Mini. That would also solve many potential problems.
I have many hours on my printer, and I’ve never used it with the doors or lid open while printing and ive never had any issues. I use the bambu pla and bambu abs loaded in the ams and i swap between them all the time and never had a clog, all you have to do is wipe the print bed down with some isopropyl alcohol before you switch materials, using the textured pei plate never needed a glue stick
