Both Sparkle and Galaxy do sparkle… What’s the difference between sparkines in both? I can’t spot the difference.
Side question: anybody browsed filaments, saw “perfect” filament colour or had colour bring you “genius” idea and it’s sold out with no “back in stock before” message?
The last one would definitely inspire me. But I do love the aesthetic of sparkle/galaxy filament, this is a watch I designed and I think it looks more classy than if it were just ‘plastic’:
A white sparkle would only work well under the correct lighting conditions due to the lack of contrast in the two materials. I agree, it would look good though.
I bought all the Sparkle and all the Galaxy filaments, I’m underwhelmed.
Unless you use them in large quantities and not on small models, it will just look dirty.
The lack of real difference between the two ranges is also disappointing. Both have a pool or nearly identical colours and when placed side by side without a lot of direct light, they look too similar.
Well… Alpine Green Sparkle looks very “tasty” on the product page and that made me wonder about all the greens available and effects… And I remembered a piece of useless overpriced decor in home decor store I saw back when I saw the candles that inspired me to do “Pillars of Light”… One idea led to another and now I hope Galaxy Green is as good as I imagine Sparkle Alpine Green would’ve been One thing for sure if I make the thing - it won’t be useless
I’m currently printing the Toy Factory from Fulv using the Crimson Red Sparkle as the main color along with the White Marble. An excellent combo for Christmas. Hoping to have it finished and lit up this weekend.
In the Galaxy filaments, I’m very partial to the Nebula. It reminds me a lot of new asphalt and as a motorcycle rider I appreciate the feeling. Hmm. I may need to do a motorcycle themed diorama/display at some point.
