I have noticed that where the x axis rail connects to the z screws, there is quite a bit of play up and down, and this may be causing the nozzle to drag on the bed, I don’t know if belt tensioning would solve this, and I am reluctant to take it apart if I am not in the right ballpark, as I have had this machine apart so many times already for various issues. Any ideas welcome!
side note, I have adjusted the z offset in the code and this solves the problem, but would like to sort out the movement in the z axis to actually fix it.
