Please add more Filament-Drying Presets; And allow higher temp

PPA-CF calls for 110 to 120deg C on the X1C bed. However when I try to set the bed temp to 110, I get an error message: “Not Higher Than 90C” We know the bed can go higher, because I print with 110C bed temp regularly. I just can’t set that temp, in Filament Dry Mode.

Please add more filament drying presets in the next firmware update… and allow a higher temperature setting. Up to 120deg C.

The list of drying presets available in the current firmware is the same one from 2 years ago, while new Bambu filaments have been added in the Bambu store.

PPA-CF really suggests using a blast oven, the drying mode of the printer isn’t going to do it. That filament is why I’m interested in the Sunlu E2 I ordered.

Whether it will be effective or not, is yet to be “officially” determined.
Because as it stands it can not be even attempted with the current settings.

Besides, nothing hurts Bambu to add the preset and the ability to set the temperature as noted in Bambu’s very own WIKI page.
In other words: “do what you say”.

Having said that - “Unofficially”, I was able to do it… I faked the settings by setting the bed temp to 120degC using “manual controls”, and dried a spool of filament overnight - 12hrs, flipping it over 1 time at 8hr mark. Worked like a charm on my print the next day.
