Hi all. my first Bambu printer and I have a few questions. If I download a print from Bambu Handy and it was designed to use PLA but I’m using ABS or PETG will it automatically Change the settings if I choose PETG for the print settings from handy? Or, should I be using Bambu Studio and make all those changes myself then re slice? PLA I’m doing fine, but when I wanted to print a riser and decided to print in PETG it was a train wreck, even though I selected PETG for the print settings in Handy. WOW, lots to learn! I’m used to curl slicer and pokey ender 3. Thanks all

Yes you need to reslice it. It doesn’t know what filament you selected, UNTIL you slice it then it generates the G code to print it.

OK, so the mobile app does not re slice it when I chose PETG. HAHA. And here I thought I was skating around the hard work.
