Every time I start a new project I have to sync the AMS settings. When I do this studio shows a dialog telling me, that there was allready a sync.
YES!
But not only one, dozens! Because when I open a .3mf from makerworld the filaments are overwritten.
And I can choose if I want to sync or to resync. What is the difference? I just want that the studio uses the filaments I have in the AMS.
If somebody opens a foreign .3mf it is very unlikly that he has the same kinds of filaments as the creator of the file. It is of course interessting which types the creator used, but this should be shown in some information window and not overwrite the settings.
If at all studio should ask if the settings from the file should be used. This could make sense if someone uses a project he had used and saved himself before.
(I saw an other post whre somebody had seriouse problems because also the printer was changed. Such things should not be imported. There is a reason why we import models and slice and do not use foreign g-code.)
Yesterday I had problems doing the sync with the AMS. Studio told me that it could not sync because there where no compatible filament. ???
I tried several times sync, resync and after 5 or 6 times the sync succeeded.
