Please start a Bambu Lab Amazon shop, or SOMETHING!

Kind of an open letter to Bambu.

I really like using Bambu’s filament with my X1C given that it’s all tuned to work together and the AMS reads the info automatically off the RFID, but it takes forever to receive. I ordered 5 spools off the website a week ago (Wednesday) and they’re only just expected to arrive today (Tuesday).

Meanwhile, I can go on Polymaker’s Amazon shop and have filament delivered in 2 days or less. Some are even same day. It’s obviously no small feat to setup that kind of production and distribution for Amazon to have the product stocked and ready to deliver that quickly, but there must be some way of improving the turnaround time on filament orders.

I just sent them feedback similar to this, 11 days for me to get filament via FedEx. 11 days via FedEx? Is someone walking it over from NJ to CA?

Bambu needs to sort this out OR they need to better support 3rd party filaments.

I’ve had four parts/filament shipments from Bambu. In each case FedEx only had the package for 2-3 days, whether it came to Ohio from California or New Jersey.

The inexcusable part is the additional 2-3 day delay between the creation of the shipping label and FedEx receiving the package from Bambu.

Agreed on this point. The only solution I see is ordering like extra spools and like 20-30 refill kits.

I don’t have an AMS, and don’t need the RFID chips, so I can and do use filament suppliers that can move more quickly.

The filaments I ordered at the same time as my X1C also took a very long time to ship. I now need some more filament quick and normally would have ordered from Bambu, but given the shipping times & uncertainty I ordered elsewhere.

Fortunately I can’t say the same for the EU shop, at least for Germany.

Turnaround is about 48h, absolutely acceptable.
