Mouse wheel zoom is much more useful if the area under the mouse is held in position relative to the screen as the zoom goes in and out. This allows for very fluid panning while zooming, making it much easier to navigate around a model.
This is how most CAD apps function (e.g. Fusion), and how Google Maps functions.
Are you referring to this feature? It works just like you described. The image zooms into wherever the mouse pointer is set, just like many CAD programs.
Yes! Thank you! It didn’t even occur to me there’d be an option for it. I can’t fathom anyone wanting it any other way, and the other slicer I use doesn’t do it.
