So i just ran to this problem. I wanted to get a better view of the finished printed part so i tried to raise the bed and i accidentally hit the home Axis button. Not luckily my hot end didn’t crash onto the printed part and it homed onto the top of the part.
Is it possible to add an Emergency Stop button on the APP
AFAIK, that is currently the only way to immediately stop the printer: Even the stop button on the front isn’t immediate – it only stops after the current command, so it can’t interrupt homing.
This! Please add an emergency stop button to Bambu Studio and Bambu Handy! I had a problem where my first layer was bad, so when it did the first layer inspection a piece of PLA got jammed under the lidar! It drug it around scratching the bed. I clicked stop on Bambu Studio, but it didn’t stop the first layer inspection! I had to run across the office to the print room to flip the switch. We need a way to emergency stop from the app/software!
This was also suggested to me on Reddit. The problem is when I have 5 of them, I don’t also want 5 plugs to manage in another app. I don’t know the code of their software, but I can’t imagine there isn’t a software solution for this. I wrote a custom web app for my prusa’s using the octoprint API so I can emergency stop them all from the web.
Uhhh, I didn’t even know this existed! You are awesome. I can do code, so I might be able to integrate this myself if there is API docs for it. Thank you so much @JonRaymond !
anyone know if this feature got added. Had the AMS stuck in a load unload today and just wanted it to stop so i could pull the tubes apart and fix the issue. For now I just unplugged the AMS cable and it stopped. Powered off X1C, fixed issue then powered everything back up. Would be nice to just be able to stop the AMS and the printer for that matter.
