Poop on the edge of the poop chute

Just got my new P1S, and I am super excited to start making stuff. This is the only problem I am having, which, compared to my Ender 3 and the learning curve with that, I’m glad this is the only issue. What would cause it to not align during the first purge? For the rest of the print, it has no issue sitting in the center of the chute. I did the calibration as soon as i got it out of the box.

That is an odd problem. Can I ask what version of Bambu studio you are using? Also have you printed any of the on board models and do they purge in the same location?

Using Studio 1.9.3.50. Seems like it only does that on the very first print after the power is off. Haven’t turned it off and so far every print starts correctly. I tried to run the file that came preinstalled but keeps trying to load from an external spool not the AMS. After these desiccant pods are done printing ill try power it down and try a different print and see what happens.

Just be aware that printing some of the “mods” like stepper covers, PTFE guides and poops shoot covers can cause issues with correctly homing the printer. This can cause weird location offsets to happen.

You can print the internal files from the AMS just be sure that you have pla in slot number 1 (far left).

I always thought these could cause issues like that, especially dust covers. I dont see why a little maintenance and cleaning of the machine makes covers obsolete

I have the same problem. All parts are stock. What calibrates the X axis? I did the full calibration and no luck.
