Poop shoot not done at bottom

Hi there, I am very happy to have a A1 mini now, but I have difficulties to understand, what is happening then it comes to do poop shoots (any other things).

In the beginning the printer was creating the poops while the head was at the bottom.
Since I had resettet my Windows and also Bambu Studio it seems like the head is always right in the middle of it’s hight, when it does the same (poop).

Due to the fact that the poops are falling way deeper it is missing the boxes I put below.
Could anybody please help me out?

It shoots poop at whatever level it’s currently printing at. So, at the start of a print, it’s down near the bottom. But, if you’re doing a tall print with filament swaps?

I put a “poop deflector” on mine, solved the problem. But… poops tend to stick to it if they’re the same filament type. So, if you print mostly PLA, I recommend printing the deflector in PETG, and vice-versa. It’s not a huge thing though, just gotta occasionally knock off a dingleberry.

Thank you for your answer. I have to take a closer look what happens if I got filament change at higher levels, but I had just yet figured out that it was with nothing printed, yet. Just to flush the head clear. I definitely had that one several times. I got a poop stopper installed, but anyway the poop falls down to somewhere. Not that ideal when you got cats.:face_with_peeking_eye:

Yeah, even though I have a large poop bin, and the deflector, now and again one will bounce off into random places. I frequently will find one under the print bed. Fortunately, it’s rare that I have one bounce back onto the build plate.

Hallo

Hello
I printed this out, I also have a cat and it works GREAT!

There are 2 parts and the drawer can be pulled out to the front (even when printing). I lined the inside with felt to avoid noise when the print head makes quick movements and the printer vibrates heavily
