Both the benchy that comes with the printer and my 3rd print of a pumpkin suffered from bad lower layers and overhangs. The benchy uses the included settings and the pumpkin was ran at 200mm/s, then 50mm/s for overhangs. I know the benchy has settings to nearly make it a torture test so I ignored it, but this is very noticable on this and they occured at about the same level.
I don’t consider the benchy a stress test, its quite simple actually.
What you are noticing is the solid base of the model, on benchy its the deck, it’s where the structure of the model changes from having a filled in base to an open area. This can make cooling uneven resulting in a bulge.
