Started getting very poor print quality the higher up a model gets. Was printing fine a few days ago.
Have cleaned nozzle in case it was a clog, new filament - even tried it in the drier when that didnt help. Its worse on the “underside” of the model but “topside” is affected also.
what filament were you using? there is a bunch of things that may have contributed to this print.
Maybe your nozzle is start to get clocked
Bambu basic pla (white)
Nozzle is 0.4 hardened
As mentioned in op, I cleaned the nozzle. I wasn’t convinced this would help as I would have expected a clog to be an issue throughout the print not just 2/3 of the way through
you should post some screen shots of your setting in the slicer that you used that made that thing. From what I can tell you have stringing, adhesion issues, warping (thats from too much heat), looks like over extrusion as well.
Try to print something small… same thing but scale it down and see if the issue continues.
Hey guys,
I am new to 3D Printing, bought a used P1S from a profressional User who regularly maintained it. My first Testprint was a Dinosaur, I used the specs which came with the modell.
Why does the structure change suddenly at the bottom of the head? It goes from quite smooth to more rough. Doesn’t necessarily looks like an error, but since it suddenly starts at one layer I’m not sure, what the problem might be.
Any help very much apreciated.
Regards
Obsi
This looks like fuzzy skin was enabled but than it should be enabled through the whole print.
Maybe the model was split into two parts in the slicer and only for the upper fuzzy skin was enabled.
Check the Objects tab in the slicer. Maybe the model was split into multiple parts
