I’m using regular black overture pla. I was having issues where my prints were losing bed adhesion and going off the bed at the start of my prints. I slowed the first layers waaay down, to observe what was going on. And it looks like I’m not printing with proper flow or something?
I have a brand new mini with maybe 40 hours of use. It has always performed perfectly until I changed from a generic black PLA to a generic marble PLA. With the marble every thing is fine except for the first layer that looks something like yours. I’m guessing it’s an extrusion issue, but, like you, I don’t yet know.
As it turned out, the marble PLA I was trying to use (Duramic brand) clogged both-- my new A1 Mini and my new P1S. I’ve ordered a 0.6 nozzle to see if the filament can be used with that larger diameter. Oddly, I never had any problem running it through a 0.4 nozzle on my primitive Ender 3s with their brass nozzles. I’d like to experiment with different settings, but its a PITA to unclog a nozzle on the Bambu printers. I’m used to merely chucking a ten cent brass nozzle on the Ender 3. So cheap, why bother trying to unclog them. $35 bucks for a new (complete) hot end for the Bambu P1.
I have start putting glue on the bed for any small print pieces. Cause once the machine starts going faster it would knock lose my prints. It works great.
