It’s hard to answer without knowing the manufacturer. Also, were you aware that a cardboard spool’s weight can vary as much as 6g based on moisture? Also, did you dry your filament and weigh it before and after drying? That too can influence weight. And last, if you’re in the middle of a print and your trying to estimate based on what the slicer stated was the amount needed, did you know that those numbers can also vary quite a bit, especially if there are filament changes involved.
It is the Original bambu ppa cf cardboard spool.
I don’t know how much is on it and if I should start the next print….
I couldn’t find any reference to the spool weight anywhere, nit in their otherwise very detailed specifications.
I found these, nit helpful for you, but, others who might be looking for related information.
Model | Weight | Type | Spool net weight |
---|---|---|---|
Bambu Lab (High Temp) | 1 kg | Plastic (Grey) | 216 g |
Bambu Lab (Low Temp) | 1 kg | Plastic (Clear) | 250 g |
Bambu Lab (Low Temp) | 1 kg | Plastic (Light Grey) | 208 g (without cardboard core) |
Bambu Lab | 1 kg | Plastic (White) | 253 g (with cardboard core) |
now i know it…
the empty cardboard spool from bambulab ppa-cf weights 196g.
