Pre-order Bambu Lab new flagship printer

I’ve been saving money for 9 months for the unnamed, late 2024, new flagship printer. It’s delayed until Q1 2025.

QIDI released the Plus 4 as a P1S-market contender and likely to steal thunder from Bambu Lab’s new release; but they released too early. It was a temping product for saved dollars, but I’m glad I didn’t give in.

Prusa just announced their Core One, which also seems aimed directly at the P1S-market. And their pricing is insanely reasonable for a Prusa product. It’s a pre-order and they’re not shipping until sometime in January 2025. This will take money away from Bambu sales and is VERY tempting.

I’m glad Bambu Lab is not racing to release a product that isn’t fully tested, like the QIDI Plus 4. But I’m also a little frustrated that they’re not announcing the new machine and accepting pre-orders–even if it doesn’t ship for a few months.

I’d rather see an amazing product launch and pre-order, locking-in my purchase now and receiving the product in a few months, than not knowing what to do–uncertainty will kill products just as fast as having no products.

So, this is some form of plea to Bambu Lab. Please give us more to go on than, “it will be amazing in Q1.” Take my money now so that I don’t buy a competitor in a moment of weakness.

Yo, Bambu, when @DontPanic says:

what he really means is to take his money for 2 printers; one for him and … one for me. And you may also charge his account for both shipping costs…

(no offense, @DontPanic, but your rant was to good an opportunity to miss.).
