It would be nice to have a preheat button, in Bambu Studio/Handy, or on the machine. I generally have a couple things to do before I print and it would be nice to get the bed heated and start the chamber heating before I press “Go.”
Agreed! I liked with my first machines, I could just click a button and they’d just get ready. BUT, one thing our X1s do would negate this. The pre-print sequence with bed leveling, where it gets to full temps, them drops the HE to 140, for the mesh, then raises back to near the print temps, only to dip down again while scanning the print path. THEN it finally goes to print temp, to stay. lol
It does that for engineering materials in the hotends cup…You might have purchased the wrong machine
Just click on the bed icon in the Handy app or the printer screen and you can set the bed temperature. I do this all the time when printing ASA/ABS at 100C to get the bed and chamber warmed up.
Thanks for the tip. I’m still new to Bambu and am just learning the software.
