Preheat hotend and then cut of filament anyway?

Why preheat hotend when you’re gone cut of the filament anyway? @BambuLab

Doing some test today trying to diagnose and error with my ams. Im unloading and loading filament and haven 't really thought about it before but, why do we preheat our hotend when it’s using a knife to cut the filament off anyway?

Obvious if it’s changing color/filament during print but not when you are just changing filament before starting a print.

Also, mine tend to ooze out some filament before going back to purge chute, leaving some unwanted filament hanging on the edge off it or needed to get pick up from the heatbed before the print starts.

If you don’t pre-heat the nozzle, the filament cutter tends to get stuck and not retract, because the cutter has a thickness that puts pressure on the filament in the hot-end.
When the nozzle’s hot, the filament moves down and the cutter retracts. When the nozzle is cold, the cutter gets stuck.
