Pressure Advance Information Storage

Does the Carbon X1 save the Pressure Advance Information after you run the test the first time for that material? I am wanting to know weather I need to run that test every print, or just run it when I put a new roll in the AMS.

Hi,

if you mean the calibration - current general knowledge is that at least as long as you don’t switch the roll (or I don’t see a need for a re-calibration of the same filament type from the same manufacturer) there is no need to re-calibrate. But calibration info is only stored for the current filament - it doesn’t store several filaments.

My personal experience: As long as you find that your prints are fine, there is no need to rerun calibration
