Price is raised and we still have to wait 2 weeks for it to ship

I don’t know if it will hurt Bambu that much, it just allows the rest of the world to purchase the limited supply easier. The purchase price hasn’t gone up for the rest of us.

Yeah, they’re probably just going to reallocate to fill the other markets. They’ll still sellout on the next restock day.

I don’t get what they’re doing. Even if you purchase it with out their professional setup or their add-ons, it’s still so expensive.

Yeah… the more I think about it, its seems higher than it should be. I’m wondering if they are using it as a place holder. They don’t have the units to ship (or drop ship from Bambu), so its possible its not a real price as of right now.

But they have always had fairly high prices for the products they sale… so its hard to say what’s going on here.

What a load of nonsense. Stop drinking the coolaid.

It’s called gouging. They are using fear to attempt to pump up their profits. It will be interesting to see who, in the US, will still bite at these exorbitant prices. I was ready to pull the trigger as soon as it was “available”. Not any more, I’ll stick with my X1C.

In UK also. Ordered April 8, shipping apparently mid May.

Can you explain how this is gouging?

Tariffs are imposed to increase the price of imported goods to stop you from buying a foreign product and buy home manufactured goods instead. So, they are having the desired effect as the price of goods has increased.

The importer of those goods are the ones who pay the tariff. As bambu are the ones who are importing the goods they have two choices. They either pass that cost on to the buyer, which they are doing, or choose to swallow the cost, and frankly why should they do that when they feel they are being bullied.

Price gouging is simply raising prices because there is a demand which may or may not be greater than supply. Because of this demand, they raise the prices to increase their profits. Bambu is not doing this as they are still recieving the same cost for the sold product, the rest goes to the US government, therefore their profits haven’t increased, hence not gouging. Look at Nvidia for examples of price gouging.

Exactly. Bambu is only still selling machines in the U.S. because they don’t know what else to do. I expect supply to be increasingly limited. It more profitable to sell machines tot he rest of the world.

I just got enough to buy my grandson an A1 mini and now it’s over 600 bucks. Very upset. No way I can get it now.

What is so hard to understand? The tariff raised the price. Then when the tariff was raised more, the price raised more. How is any of that Bambu’s fault. Write your president and ask why he and his party babble about small government and low taxes, but then have his government intervene and effectively drastically raise your taxes on a large portion of manufactured goods.
