It seems very limiting to not be able to size and rotate prime towers to accommodate a larger print. There have been many times when I would like to use the prime tower, yet I don’t have room on the plate. Can’t believe this would be difficult to change in the studio software to make it more usable.
I’m pretty certain we used to be able to size the tower - but users would inevitably shrink it down to the minimum and then complain about print defects when the nozzle wasn’t able to prime sufficiently. So now it’s automatically sized, but we can’t specify the direction it will grow in.
Just for a sanity check, can you select the tower and rotate it using the rotate command? Even if it doesn’t show anything, does it slice differently?
The other possibility - since print beds are square-ish, if you can’t rotate the prime tower, you always could rotate everything else relative to the prime tower - but that would be a pain if you have more than a couple parts on the bed.

Disable the newer rib wall style and the dimension option appear. You essentially revert back to the rectangular version we had for so long.
You can still move the tower to anywhere on the build plate in both modes.
Yea I I can see having a minimum amount of area but with only being able to size the width that doesn’t help and no you can’t rotate it like an object ..I wish
Yea I have tried that but that still doesn’t help when printing close to the edges of the plate.
