why is prime tower width disabled with rib wall is on
Because a prime tower with rib walls is always square. Its side length is automatically calculated from the total prime volume.
Without the rib walls it is a rectangle. You can choose one side length, and the other one is calculated automatically.
What are rib walls?
The thing is, the Rib Walls doesn’t have to be square, it’s just the way BBS does it.
I also find it annoying we can’t manually change the total prime volume to adjust the size of that ‘square’.
EDIT*
Ah, I just discovered the prime volume settings are set per filament, which does make sense. So adjusting that value in the filament profile will automatically adjust the primed tower size. ![]()
